Cara joined Beacon Mobility in February 2023, to work with the Commercial team to support the Beacon growth strategy. She recently transitioned to the role of Chief of Staff.

Before joining Beacon Mobility, Cara built her career as a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) consultant focusing on risk and insurance. Most recently, Cara led the M&A Insurance Diligence function at Alliant Insurance Services, where she developed best practices, created measurable deliverable standards, and established processes for the growing team.

Prior to Alliant, Cara spent ten years as a buy-side consultant to Private Equity deal teams.

When she isn’t working, Cara is usually outside. She is often travelling – either to Colorado (visiting family and the Rocky Mountains) or to Northern Ireland (visiting her husband’s family and the beautiful Irish Sea). When Cara is at home in New York City, Saturday mornings are dedicated to volunteering at Pegasus Therapeutic Riding, a facility that provides the experience and benefits of horse-riding to people with cognitive and physical disabilities as well as to members of the military veteran community.
