Bryony Chamberlain has worked in bus operations since graduating in 1996. She began her career in local transit operations in the United Kingdom, quickly rising to become one of the youngest Managing Directors for a regional division at Stagecoach Bus.
In 2006, Bryony moved to the United States to help launch Megabus, leading operations, safety, commercial, and marketing functions. The business grew from a small start-up idea into a major operation with more than $250 million in revenue before being sold to private equity in 2019.
Following the sale, Bryony sought a new challenge and transitioned to overseeing the school bus division for a family-owned company. This experience provided a new perspective, highlighting the important role transportation plays in giving children access to opportunities to learn and grow, and bringing a deeper sense of purpose to her work.
Bryony joined Beacon Mobility in 2024 as Vice President of Long Island, where she restructured the region, implemented new technologies, and maintained a strong focus on safety and customer engagement.
In June 2026, Bryony took on the role of Senior Vice President of Operations for New York, focused on bringing teams together and positioning the business for the future.
