What is Beacon Connect?

Beacon Connect is a communication platform designed to seamlessly connect dispatchers, drivers, and educational institutions, providing them with streamlined access to precise information all within a single, centralized hub. This comprehensive solution caters to both regular student routes and specialized education routes, offering: 

  • routes and driver assignments w/ real time access to vehicle locations  
  • quick route changes w/ new address locations from schools to dispatchers 
  • 2-way messaging between schools and dispatchers via chat messaging 
  • student incidents recorded for sharing with schools 
  • incident tracking to reveal repeat offenders and general behavior trends on our vehicles 
  • regional school calendars for events, holidays, half-days 
  • place to post regional school announcements (weather or other emergency events) 
  • a “contact us” list for schools to access operations personnel 

That’s a lot of helpful information, as you can see, and much better communications between transportation coordinators and dispatchers and schools. Parents are going to love the tool too!
