Jay joined Midwest Bus Sales in 2022 as the company’s Director of Operations.  In this role he oversees all day-to-day dealership and bus leasing operations in five locations covering six states in the Midwest.

Before joining Midwest Bus Sales and the Beacon family, Jay started his career as a professional chef and restauranteur.  Jay made the jump to “Yellow” in 2011 when he joined Apple Bus Company and has never looked back.  He served as the Vice President of Operations for Apple Bus and helped to grow that business to over 1,500 vehicles operating in eight states throughout the country including operations in Alaska, New Orleans, and the throughout the greater Midwest.

Outside of work Jay loves traveling, watching his kids sporting events and spending time on any body of water with his wife Laura, daughter Harper and the twins Owen and Ella.
