Tim comes to Beacon with a myriad of experience within the transportation industry. With over 45 years of specialized experience, Tim started his career as a driver who achieved over 2-million-mile award by 1999 from the National Safety Council. Tim went on to progress through the ranks – working his way up by being first becoming a driver/trainer, followed thereafter by being a fleet trainer, dispatcher, operations manager, regional safety manager, and then director of safety.

Working in his role as VP of Safety Operations for Beacon, Tim tirelessly leads teams with a people-focused approach. He specializes in executing strategies that improve business productivity while simultaneously executing initiatives centered around employee engagement and recognition.

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family – his wife Pam of 44-plus years, their son, daughter, and their two grandchildren. One of Tim’s other passions is spending time fishing and time outdoors.
