Workday is an automated HR Experience tool that will allow you to manage your teams and your personal information from a central, user-friendly dashboard. It will integrate Payroll and HR, greatly reducing manual work and increasing paycheck accuracy. Workday will also provide insight into the recruiting process, ensuring no candidates slip through the cracks, and it will allow you to access tools that help you manage and motivate your teams.

Workday, which will replace Paycom, offers a host of benefits over our current system, including integrated HR and Payroll functions, which will cut down on manual payroll processing, reduce paycheck inaccuracies, and give you the ability to make routine HR requests and changes yourself.

We’ll start using Workday on Sunday, December 25, 2022. You’ll be able to log in a week early, on December 18, to set up your account.

You will need to take a few moments to familiarize yourself with Workday and the new features it offers. Those include online training courses, viewing payroll details, job postings, and benefits selection. You will find the new system very intuitive and easy to use.

Starting on December 25th, you will no longer use Paycom to punch in. You will use a paper timesheet until our new time keeping system is installed later in the spring.

To be able to access or change your personal information, you will need to log in and set up an account. The link to log in will be available Sunday, December 18th. You can access Workday both on your computer and on a smartphone.

Before we go live with Workday, we will provide plenty of resources and opportunities to learn the new system. We will have videos, webinars, and live training available to ensure you feel comfortable.

You will submit your requests to your manager.

No. Nothing will change with the timing of your paychecks.

You can access or make changes to your personal information and punch in through the Workday app on your smartphone, but if you don’t have a smartphone, no problem! You can use the kiosks at each location to access and change your personal information.

An online tool on the app or website that automatically directs you to the section you are seeking based on a question you submit. Workday Assistant can give you a link or the exact information you want, like your PTO balance. Think of it like an Alexa or Siri for Workday.

If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone, you can use one of the designated kiosks to access your Workday profile. It’s an independent computer where you can access your Workday profile and complete tasks.

We will let you know when training is available, and we will have resources available to help you get set up and navigate the new system. We will make sure you have the tools you need to be comfortable using Workday.
