Workday is a new HR experience tool that will allow you to access your paychecks and personal information easily and quickly from any device. You can check your PTO balance, and change your contact information all from one place.

Workday, which will replace Peoplease, offers a host of benefits over our current system, including a more user-friendly experience for requesting time off, and viewing or changing your personal or paycheck information.

We’ll start using Workday on Sunday, December 25, 2022. You’ll be able to log in a week early, on December 18, to set up your account.

You will need to take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the new tools that Workday offers, such as time off requests, viewing payroll details, and benefit selection. However, you will find the new system very intuitive and easy to use. Workday communicates your hours directly with payroll to ensure paycheck accuracy.

To be able to access or change your personal information, you will need to log in and set up an account. The link to log in will be available Sunday, December 18th. You can access Workday both on your computer or on a smartphone. If you don’t have a computer or a smartphone, you can use one of the tablets or computer kiosks at work.

Before we go live with Workday, we will provide plenty of resources and opportunities to learn the new system. We will have videos, webinars, and live trainings available to ensure you feel comfortable.

You will still punch in and out at the designated time clocks as you normally do.

All time off requests will be submitted through Workday, and all time off submissions need to be made at least 30 days in advance of the requested date.

Your current pay schedule will remain as is through December. Starting in January, your bi-weekly pay period will be delayed. In order not to disrupt your pay, you’ll receive a check on January 6th for the hours you worked the previous week. Your next paycheck would be on January 20th and biweekly on Fridays going forward. You will NOT LOSE any pay.

You can access or make changes to your personal information through the Workday app on your smartphone, but if you don’t have a smartphone, no problem! You can use the kiosks at each location to access and change your personal information.

An online tool on the app or website that automatically directs you to the section you are seeking based on a question you submit. Workday Assistant can give you a link or the exact information you want, like your PTO balance. Think of it like an Alexa or Siri for Workday.

If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone, you can use one of the designated kiosks to access your Workday profile. It’s an independent

computer where you can access your Workday profile and complete tasks.

We will let you know when training is available, and we will have resources available to help you get set up and navigate the new system. We will make sure you have the tools you need to be comfortable using Workday.
