Workday is a new tool that will make payroll and HR management much more streamlined. With Workday we’ll have centralized employee file management and storage, integrated expense management, and dashboards to let you see daily tasks at-a-glance.

Workday, which will replace CBIZ, offers a host of benefits over our current system, including integrated HR and Payroll functions, which will cut down on manual payroll processing, reduce paycheck inaccuracies, and allow you to manage your HR and payroll tasks from a convenient dashboard.

We’ll start using Workday on July 3, 2022. You can access Workday as early as Monday, June 27 to start setting up your account.

Workday will integrate payroll directly with the HR system, which will ultimately eliminate much of the manual and paper-driven work that we currently use.

There will be a slight change in the timing of your paychecks, as well. You will still be paid biweekly, but you will get your paychecks on Fridays instead of Wednesdays. The week of July 3 your paychecks will be split and paid on both Wednesday and Friday, and then biweekly on Fridays after that.

You will need to learn new processes, but ultimately payroll will become more automated, allowing you to build new skills, learn new systems, and spend less of your time on purely transactional activities.

There will be a slight change in the timing of your paychecks as we transition from a Wednesday to a Friday payday. To make the transition, you will notice the week of July 3 your paychecks will be split and paid on both Wednesday and Friday, and then biweekly on Fridays after that.

The Workday tools you need to manage the payroll and HR processes will be given to you through personal, webinar, and video training. We will ensure you have the tools you need to feel confident using the new system.

Yes, Sexual Harassment training will need to be repeated in the new Workday environment.

We will let you know when training is available, and we will have resources available to help you get set up and navigate the new system.

You can bookmark this page for additional training videos. We will ensure you have the tools you need to use all the features of the new system.
