Workday is a new HR experience tool that will allow you to access your paychecks and personal information easily and quickly from any device. You can request time off, check your PTO balance, and change your contact information all from one place.
It is also a system that connects the timeclock directly to payroll, which will greatly reduce manual tracking and improve accuracy in your paychecks.
Workday, which will replace Ceridian/Dayforce, offers a host of benefits over our current system, including integrated HR and Payroll functions, which will cut down on manual payroll processing, reduce paycheck inaccuracies, and give you the ability to make routine HR requests and changes yourself.
We’ll start using Workday on July 3, 2022. You will still be able to access paycheck stubs and tax documents in Ceridian/Dayforce.
You will begin clocking in and out with Workday, either on a work tablet or computer kiosk, or your mobile phone. Tracking time through Workday, which is directly connected to payroll, will greatly reduce manual hours tracking and paycheck inaccuracies.
You will need to take a few moments to familiarize yourself with a few new tools that Workday offers. However, you will find the new system very intuitive and easy to use, and the added features will make accessing your information and making routine HR requests much faster and easier.
Before we go live with Workday, we will provide plenty of resources and opportunities to learn the new system. We will have videos, webinars, and live trainings available to ensure you feel comfortable using the new system.
Yes, Sexual Harassment training will need to be repeated in the new Workday environment.
